We've been doing planetary geology all this week (although of course, you can't use the word geology, fnarfnarfnar, what a laugh) so, http://moon.google.com. If you zoom in really close you get some AMAZING detail. Also, I've been going on at people about the new Google Earth. SO GOOD. |

Visiting Lancaster is going to be stressful, I can see. I'll get back to Orpington at 2307, no matter what, and I can leave in the morning and get up ridiculously early or I can leave the night before and get lost in uni buildings (which is what I do). Oh! Decisions, decisions.
I handed in my geo coursework today (the first one!), and I know there were problems with it, so I got to make my LJ all pretty and sparkly.
I broke my record today. No, I didn't use the school canteen; my phone went off in a lesson.
I have nothing interesting to talk about because my life has been one long geography party. Which is cool, but I don't think any of you'd be interested. One year ago... :) |

Stupid American elections and George W Bush.
Mr Burn went and checked where my ucas form had got to, and, basically, someone (he neglected to say who) had lost it, weeks ago. If I hadn't said anything, nobody "would have noticed". Thanks for the wonderful system, Newstead. And then he went on to say "it doesn't really matter that it's gone in late - you're still ahead of a lot of people." WTF about all those talks saying 'the sooner your form gets sent off, the better'?! Do they mean nothing?!
I learnt how to use the washing machine and tumble drier today! (Obviously they're not as cool as Emma's...) But yay for me!
Ooh, and yesterday I had the most amazing shopping trip. I found a fantastic brooch-type-pin thing and got 3 more black jumpery tops! Although only one's v-neck, so you should be proud of me. I also got a skirt (which ok I'm never going to wear), a pair of trousers, and some little strappy tops. |

I meant to get an early night tonight. Huh. I got sidetracked with my having broken Mike's MD player, and then he magically fixed it. OK I just heard a sound at the window, that's quite weird and scary.
I have soooooooo much to do tomorrow, I don't think I'll get home until 4. That's bad, when you think that I'll be able to leave school at 1ish.
Currently stressing me out:
- PS. Obviously. It's boring and dull and I don't have a clue what to do with it. Also - where to apply? BA or BSc? Geography, Geography A, or Geography B?
- English. To continue, or not to continue - that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the lessons of Tanner and William Blake and all that or by giving up end them. WHY aren't we doing Othello?!
- Geography. I'm pants at public speaking and coursework and aaaaaaargh.
And now I've told you all that if I'm looking stressed don't ask me about it cos I'll go off into mega-whinge and piss everybody off. On the bright side: Emma you'll be getting back Sean's copy of Mother's Milk tomorrow. Umm and I've just had hot chocolate. And...Common Rotation, Bryan Adams and REM to look forward to! So yay! Also I'm going to Canterbury at some point to see Dan and Mary, so woo!

I wrote several entries last night but they all got deleted due to 'incorrect month value' or something. So I doubt that this is going to work, but it's worth a try.
In geography at the moment (Miss Rawe's not in haha) so I'm doing research for my coursework which looks as though it's going to be very boring. About unfair terms of trade and all that. I actually should go and do some geo now, will write soon if the computer accepts it! |

School wasn't too bad I guess. Kinda boring though. My mum has paid the voluntary £3 for the planner. Sometimes I wonder. Although she's also written me a letter saying 'Rosie doesn't have to go to prizegiving because it's a waste of everyone's time and should be abolished. Apart from the smartarses who actually get prizes, it's an ego-feeding day for them anyway so why does my daughter have to suffer through it?' Well, not exactly, but you get my gist. Apologies to those who have actually got prizes, I'm sure that it's a funfun evening for you but it bores me SENSELESS.
Apparently my geo c/w is in for HALF-TERM. Miss Rawe is actually insane, I mean, c'mon...!
And I spilt water on my lovely coloured-in timetable. So now I'm going to cheer myself up by doing my photo thing for the back cover. |

My mum's finally got me insured to drive her car so we went out today. And I swear I'm getting worse. It wouldn't have seemed so awful if she hadn't been gripping the seat from the time i switched the ignition on.
I don't like driving. I can't drive. I really really am just going to get a horse and take it everywhere - much easier!
Also my new phone is very purdy. And I'm going to shut up about it now because otherwise I sound obsessed. I need ways to break it (so it can be repaired by someone who, I don't know, works in the Carphone Warehouse?, but not by me!). For no reason. |

I was looking on the Nine West website (we were on target at work so I've got a nice juicy bonus to blow on whatever I want!) and I found a handbag called 'Dudette'. I'm quite proud.

What a shame it totally mings. Apologies if anyone has it, I'm sure it looks lovely in real life...
Had a pretty darn good day at work today, was all over the place - cash office, watches (we have the mingingiest watch ever - and yes that's a word!), tills (putting Jodie in her place HAFECKINGHA)... Charlotte and Claire have both cut their hair! Not that it means anything to anyone here, but OMG!
Went out after work on Thursday with people cos it was Corinne's leaving thing. Ash was offended cos I thought she'd put vodka in my coke, but she didn't. Bless her little contton socks. Next Friday/Saturday evening, does anyone want to meet up or do you all have lives and have planned things already? Shit next weekend's the last one of the holidays.
Nothing much to add. In fact, nothing at all to add.
Funny conversation of the day award goes to Charlotte. For remembering the animal song and laughing with me at nothing.
